It was built by the Bucarelli family, from Florence, in the 17th century. Seville was at that time the Gate of the World, since it had a monopoly on trade from overseas after the Discovery of America and Magallanes Circumnavigation. All merchandise entered Europe through Seville. Originally, part of the house was a work area, and was dedicated to the business and storage of merchandise, such as spices, gold, silver, silk, ceramics... and the other part was the residential and private part of the house for the family. Very important people have been born in this house over the years. Viceroys, Governors, Generals, Abbesses, Dean of the Cathedral of Seville, Warden of the Alhambra in Granada... And the most authentic and genuine thing is that since its origin, it has belonged to the same family. Today, the family resides in the palace, and teaches from the outermost patios, which give entrance to the Palace, to the living rooms, dining room and main bedroom.
